It just tastes better.

So this is my first blog of the week.
I am going to take this opportunity to express to
you, the reader, my hatred for
the restaurant, Spangles.
Now, I know this is a random topic, but we weren't
really assigned anything specific to talk about,
and this just happened to be what's on my mind.
So, Spangles...

I hate it.
I hate the food.
I hate the smell.
I hate the layout and design of the building.
I hate the cheesy half-assed commercials.
I really don't think it just tastes better.

I've never been to the Salina Spangles,
just because,
I haven't ever liked a Spangles I've been too,
and I really have just never felt the need to go.
Also, Spangles is located out on Crawford,
which is a bit of a journey for me from where I live.

Well, lucky me,
I see on my way home from school today
that they are building ANOTHER Spangles,
right on 9th street!
What the hell?
So now,
I am going to have to pass that obnoxious
looking sign and building,
every time I go to and from school!
I can just picture myself every time I'm driving by,
sitting in my car, and humming that ridiculous commercial.
Grrrrr.
("GET OUT OF MY BRAIN SPANGLES!")

So,
I'm sorry if this seems like a very hostile post,
I was just trying to make something very unexciting,
exciting.
That said,
I think I want some Spangles.

  1. LOL! You crack me up Erin! Yeah the commercials do suck!! I know some people who claim to know the Steven's family...they are bad people. At least that's what the grapevine informed me. I feel your pain. Spangles is not only needlessly over priced, but also no bueno all through.

  3. Haha great stuff..gotta love the lisp the girl has on the commercials too. And it's not exactly first-class dining experience either.
